We pedalled past the 200km marker today which felt great! We set off at noon today and were able to cover 65km - 20k, of which was right beside the Lake. The weather was fantastic again for our 5th day of riding and we even had a paved shoulder to ride on for 7km once we passed through to the new Buryat region. My bike fell on me today when I was trying to get off of it for a break and I landed hard on my left knee, which I hope is fine when I wake up tomorrow. It was bound to happen really as my bike weights 32lbs + racks 8lbs + gear/food/water 65lbs - totalling baciscally me in weight! Ali saved the day and picked the bike off of me before I was cvrushed on the hwy. Made camp in the woods off the hwy around 7pm and ofcourse it is bug city! Hopefully get an early start tomorrow morning and pound back the km's!
